Bonham High School senior Reyleigh Shockley signed to play college baseball at Paris Junior College Friday.
Shockley who is a star pitcher and slugger on the Lady Purple Warrior softball team signed in a ceremony at the Purple Warrior gym on Friday.
Shockley’s parents are Josh and Angela Shockley.

“Reyleigh is a hard working kid,” Micky Englutt, Bonham Lady Purple Warrior head softball coach said. “She stays calm and collected in some of the toughest of moments.”
Reyleigh’s calm and collectedness showed in a game Friday night in Bonham hours after her signing. Bonham, led by Shockley defeated The Howe Lady Bulldogs 4-3.
Shockley was the winning pitcher. Reyleigh pitched a complete 7 innings allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, striking out 10 and walking three. She also had an RBI triple and scored 2 runs.
Shockley and the rest of the Bonham Lady Purple Warriors (15-5-3, 1-1) continue district play this week. The Lady Purple Warriors host Pottsboro Monday.
